The IB e-card is a new online banking concept card brought to you by the Industrial Bank. The card can be used exclusively online, where fund transfers, bill payment and other online payments can be performed with ease. A physical card is also available, which can be used at bank outlets and with UnionPay ATM and POS machines. Just enjoy the freedom of a new life online with the IB e-card.

【Product Features】

Regardless of where you are and whether or not you are a client of the IB, you can apply for your e-card by logging on to the website of the IB (www.cib.com.cn) or the Mobile Phone Bank of the IB wap.cib.com.cn (Normal) or 3g.cib.com.cn (3G).

Special Rates

Transferring money from an e-card to another bank account via Internet Banking and Mobile Phone Banking is free, provided that there is a branch of the IB in the location in question.

Plethora of Functions

As an Industrial Bank card, the e-card boasts almost all the features of a standard IB card. All e-cards applied for via the IB's Internet Bank are complete with a range of default online functions such as online transfer/remittance, online bill payment, online shopping payment and fund trade, which makes your online affairs a matter of ease. All e-cards applied for via the Mobile Phone Bank of IB have default functions including assets inquiry, credit card payment (same name), precious metal investment, fund trade, financing products, bond investment and intelligent deposit notification, current-fixed deposit conversion and self-service loans.

Use it How You Want

You don't need a “physical” card if you don't want, which means that you'll never have to worry about losing it. However, an actual card, which can be used at Industrial Bank branches and UnionPay ATM and POS machines, is available if you should require, letting you get a taste of a new and fashionable way of using bank cards.

Requesting a Physical Card: Currently free of charge

Transfer through Internet Banking：

• Transfers to corporate and personal Industrial Bank accounts nationwide: free of charge;

• Inter-bank Transfer: If the receiving bank is not the Industrial Bank, the transfer can be made free of charge providing that the Industrial Bank has an outlet in the location of the receiving bank. In other scenarios, fees are charged at the same rates as Industrial Bank savings cards.

• Cash Withdrawal: fees for cash withdrawal (physical cards) are charged at the same rates as Industrial Bank savings cards.

• Cash Deposit: fees for cash deposits (physical cards) are charged at the same rates as Industrial Bank savings cards.

Note: The Industrial Bank reserves the right to alter its fees.

【How to Apply】

Apply through Personal Internet Banking

1. “CIB Online” Personal Internet Banking Users:

» Log-on to personal internet banking;

» Click on “IB E-card Online Application” found under the “IB E-card” channel;

» Choose the Industrial Bank card that you have already registered and enter your account password;

» Fill in your personal information and then set an account password and online payment password;

» When successful, your e-card will be registered under you user code and you will be able to enjoy the banking services brought to you by CIB Online straight away.

2. Industrial Bank Card Holders that have never used “CIB Online' Personal Internet Banking:

» Log-on to http://www.cib.com.cn and register a personal internet banking user code;

» With your code, log-on to personal internet banking and apply in the “IB e-card” channel to get your e-card.

3. New users:

» Log-on to http://www.cib.com.cn and click on “Apply for an IB E-card” on the home page;

» Fill in your personal information and then set an account transaction password and online payment password;

» Within 20 days, you must produce your personal identification at any Industrial Bank outlet across the country to have your identity confirmed.

» After confirmation, your IB e-card number and personal banking user code will be sent to the e-mail address that you have provided. If you have applied for an actual card as well, the card will be sent to the address that you have provided.

Apply through Mobile Phone Banking

If you have an IB Financing Card or credit card complete with a withdrawal password, you may apply for an e-Card by following the steps below:

1. Visit Mobile Phone Banking (wap.cib.com.cn (Normal) or 3g.cib.com.cn (3G)), and go from “ Homepage” > “Business Application” > “Apply for IB e-Card” to apply;

2. Log on to Mobile Phone Banking with your login name and Financing Card number, then click “ Customer Management” > “Apply for IB e-Card” to apply;

3. Log on to Mobile Phone Banking with your credit card number, then click “Credit Card” > “ Apply for IB e-Card” to apply.

* IB e-Cards applied for through the Mobile Phone Banking service will have access to most of the services of Mobile Phone Banking by default. If you require access to services such as transfer/remittance and self-service payment on Mobile Phone Banking, you will be required to submit an application at an outlet of the IB; If you require Internet Banking, you may visit the internet website of IB and click > Login > Normal Login > Apply for Personal Internet Banking to register an account.

If you require a “physical” e-card, you should:

» Log-on to http://www.cib.com.cn and enter personal internet banking;

» Click on “Apply for a Physical Card” in the “IB e-card” section;

» Choose the e-card for which you would like a physical card and then confirm your mail address;

» Following successful registration, we will send the card to the address that you have provided. Once you have received the card, log-on to personal banking and click on “Confirm Receipt of Card” in the “IB e-card” section. Your card will be activated once you have confirmed receipt.

【Notices】

• Personal Identification can be used to apply for one e-card only.

• Without a physical e-card, withdrawals of RMB and foreign currency as well as transfers for foreign currency are not available.

• After you have successfully applied for your IB e-Card, and if you do not intend to apply for a physical card, please be sure to remember your card number so as to ensure your unhindered use of electronic banking. If you forget your card number, you may inquire at an IB outlet or at via Personal Internet Banking > e-card > e-card number.
